How to: Build a Chic Outdoor Table Using an Old Pallet
What you’ll bring:
- Pallet
- Wood glue
- Sandpaper
- Wood stain
- Hairpin legs
- Fixings
What we’ll bring:
Step by step guide:
- Take apart your pallet, and roughly sand down to remove any coatings. You should have several planks from the pallet.
- Glue the edges of the planks together to create a flat square of wood. Repeat to create 2 squares of the same size.
- Glue the 2 squares on top of each other to create a tabletop
- Draw out your tabletop shape
- Use the POWERCONNECT™ Jigsaw to cut the shape out, using the Workmate® to hold the wood in place
- Sand the tabletop to a fine finish
- Stain or paint the tabletop with your preferred finish
- Use the 3.6V Rapid Driver Screwdriver to attach the legs in place
- Stand your table upright, step back, and admire your work
How to: Create Lanterns from Old Jars
What you’ll bring:
- Jars
- Glass Beads
- Old garden tools
What we’ll bring:

What you’ll bring:
- Wooden Ladder
- Paint
- Wood for shelves
- Fixings
- Paint or varnish
What we’ll bring:
Step by step guide:
- Sand ladder down to a fine finish using the 18V POWERCONNECT™ MOUSE Sander
- Paint or varnish the ladder in your chosen finish
- Open out ladder and measure the space on the rungs for where you would like the shelves to be
- Cut out wood to correct size, using the Workmate for support
- Use the POWERCONNECT™ Drill Driver to screw shelves in place on the ladder
- Fill with books, trinkets, and keepsakes for a timeless storage solution
